We want you to feel delighted with your decision to create and maintain an online presence for yourself or your company. However, you may still have some questions before you are comfortable with moving forward in the process. Just in case, we have compiled (and answered) a list of the most commonly asked questions for your review. If you don’t feel like your question is answered here or would prefer to discuss a particular topic in more detail, please feel free to contact us to resolve your inquiry.

Is having a website really necessary?

Through an online presence, your business can reach a national or global audience instead of just local consumers. Likewise, today, consumers are more attuned to the latest technology and will often check out a business online before making a trip to the physical location. That is if they aren’t more comfortable doing the actual business transactions online as well. Moreover, a website enables your company to be accessible, and your information up-to-date 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Undoubtedly, a website’s benefits are immeasurable in expanding your audience, instantly communicating with your consumers, and taking your business to the next level.

How long will it take to develop my website?

Our client’s specific needs often dictate the time frame accompanying a web design project. If a client indicates a need for the project to be completed before a deadline, it is our goal to meet that deadline. In fact, the most common delay in a website project’s completion or launch is waiting on context (text/images) to be supplied by the client.

Will we need to have a meeting before we can build a website design?

In the majority of cases, a physical meeting is not necessary. Instead, most of our websites are completed via email and telephone. We will start by discussing your website needs, preferred designs, and content. But we will remain in regular contact to discuss each phase of the web designs to ensure that the website design and functionality are exactly as projected and what you expect.

Once my website design is completed -what service do you offer?

We fully support any website we design and are always available should you encounter any problems or require any enhancements. We also offer website maintenance service plans that ensure your website always stays up-to-date (note: these are additional services you may elect to have).

Do I have to keep my website with you or can I move it to another vendor to host?
You may move your website to another web hosting service at any time. Once your website design has been completed, it is yours!
Will my website design be search engine friendly?
Absolutely, all of our websites are created and optimized with search engines in mind. Additionally, iwi website design is compliant with search engine guidelines. However, it is a good idea for your website to be re-evaluated over time as search engines do alter their rules and algorithms and you will need to stay up to date to make any necessary changes.
How to choose which web designer to design my website?

This is a difficult and important question because there are thousands of web designers for you to choose from. Most advertise on the internet, trying to persuade you to place your website design in their hands. You will want to review all prospective designers and their work and see the right fit for you and your company.

I hear that there are hidden costs associated with web design services?

No. We discuss all of our clients’ costs involved in the development and renewals of any products or services we offer, and that price is strictly adhered to.

How many pages does my website need?

The number of pages your website requires relies upon how much content you or your company wants to include. There is no minimum or maximum number that you can have. Typically, a website will provide the consumer with basic information about your company, such as a page dedicated to information about your organization (usually termed “About Us”), your products, the services you provide, and a contact page listing how you can be reached.

If I only need you to update or redesign an existing website, can you do that?

Yes, if you let us know about your existing website, we can provide you with a quote depending on your needs.

Why should I pay a professional to build my website if a “free website builder” advertises that I can do it myself?

Although it may sound ideal for minimizing your expenditures by creating your own website, it is ill-advised. The small intricate details (including the spacing in between text that makes the page more inviting to read) that compose a website should be carefully chosen by a professional with highly specific advertising and marketing knowledge to create the best experience and lasting impact on your audience. Moreover, by hiring a professional, you are not burdened with the responsibility of making sure that the content and images you use do not already belong to someone else. Additionally, a professional can ensure that your website includes specific keywords, balanced in a particular way throughout the content, that guarantee the search optimization you need to be the first link that internet users see. Overall, your website is essential to your company’s image, and you want to make sure that you are being represented in the most professional way possible.
